This purple beauty is pretty sour so if you are a fan of sour berries, you might want to give it a shot. The purplish hue of this cake is pretty eye-catching but frankly speaking, the dessert didn't leave much impression apart from the sourish taste. Generally, since Twelve + One is famous for their jams, I guess the deep purple layer might be one of the jam layers. As for the alternating cake layers, it has a granular taste which resembles like the Roulade from BakerZin, except that the former is fruity while the latter is a coffee-based cake.
