Strawberry shortcake has always been an all-time favourite and here we are making a point to explore Singapore for the very best Strawberry shortcake. So far, we have tried strawberry shortcakes from Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie, BakerZin, Rive Gauche, Mezza9 and Sun Moulin... How can we miss out GOBI's strawberry shortcake...


Strawberry shortcake... A perfect blend of hi-soft genoise, layered with cream chantilly and fresh strawberries...

Yuan knows that one of my favourite cake is the strawberry shortcake and I have eaten it before earlier this year and vaguely, our preference was BakerZin. In terms of the cream, it is pretty similar to BakerZin, milk content was just right with a tint of freshness and lightness. As for the chiffon, I would say it is closer to Sun Moulin, it is on the dense side. I would say it is worth a try but alittle expensive.
