Tiramisu... at GOBI

Earlier on, we mentioned about the miniature beauties of GOBI. Let's go BIG now...

In 2007, GOBI released a series of whole cakes but note that only the chocolate therapy is available on the shelf. The rest of the cakes require a pre-order. As for sliced cakes, they only have tiramisu, dark angel, strawberry shortcake and the opera.

In this entry, we present you the Tiramisu...

The Italian classic, light Italian mascarpone mousse sandwiches traditional genoise soaked in white rum, cognac and coffee syrup.

Yuan is currently on his Tiramisu spree but I am neutral to it. The alcohol content is pretty strong but the mascarpone cheese like most tiramisu was overloaded. I am one that prefer more cake content.

When i thought that TCC has the highest alcohol content, i came across Gobi. On my first bite, i thought that this tiramisu isn't that nice. Why? Because the layer of mascarpone cheese on the top layer was just too thick. So it gives you the impression that it is too creamy. However when i actually tasted the sponge. Wow. The sponge is really good and you really feel the rum taste and smell. I guess if you like the rum taste, you will like this tiramisu too.
