Rum Bola from Swiss Baeckerei

How can we miss out a chocolate dessert, since Palais Royal was sold out. We decided to try one of these Rum balls since it contains chocolate and alcohol.

According to Wikipedia, rum balls ($2.80 each) are a truffle-like confection, being sweet dense balls flavoured with chocolate and rum. They are roughly the size of a golf ball and often coated in chocolate sprinkles, desiccated coconut, or cocoa.


For Swiss Baeckerei, it is coated with chocolate rice. The center is essentially flourless chocolate cake with rasin. The rasins are soaked with rum. Apart from the dry and rough texture, those who like the rum and chocolate combination will love this.
