Chocolate Fondue at New York New York

Happened to drop by New York New York during the week for dinner and decided to try their chocolate fondue.

Chocolate fondue

Apart from the small portion of chocolate, I must say that this fondue is really worth a try. Not the super duper rich sort, just the right concentration of dark chocolate. The down side is that they served us with soft love letters, hardened raisin cakes, etc. but in all, its value for $15++ given the chocolate.

The cow and the fish

I guess some readers might have realise my recent obsession with burgers hence I simply had to eat this. Very ordinary taste, beef patty comes apart easily and not as thick as the Prive one, hence I took an overhead shot. I must say that the pasta tasted better though Fen thought it was too creamy.

i think choc fondue still goes best with fruits like bananas & strawberries! its just weird to serve it with something so sweet & dry like cookies, waffles & marshmallows.

as for burgers, i think i'm also on the craze! i intend to visit relish next, no matter what they say about them being overpriced. just keen to go, at the same time wanna try the deconstructed strawberry cheesecake that i missed out when i was at wild rocket that time. hehe

Yup Relish, also curious about their burger, following Prive, I was kind of addicted to taking photos of burgers

smok'inn frogz kitchen! hmph.. perhaps I'll give relish a go someday. and as for fondues. I think that banana cake and shortbread fingers make incredible dippers. as do all other fruits like strawberries, bananas and even apple slices. A little bit of acidity to bring out the same characeristics of the chocolate.

Never though very much of nyny's food. In fact, don't think I'll ever go there again after my very first visit. haha.

Evan: Though I am not a fan of bananas but I have to admit banana is one of the better match when it comes to chocolate fondue... On the personal note, I do like fondue with cookies (Laurent's dark chocolate cookies) and banana cake (Max Brenner's)...

Wanna go Relish together with Sihan, then maybe to Island Creamery?

Slyuan: You are cutting down on burgers... Too much are not good... hehe

Sihan: Heard a couple of good reviews about Smok'Inn Frogz Kitchen, guess I shouldn't miss that too...

Agree with you that banana cake and shortbread fingers are good chocolate dippers... Honeydew are good too as they are juicy...

NYNY is one place which I dunno why people are queueing for. I thought Swensons is much better... Was there last week because of a gathering...

Lol, the fact that I have decided to go for Brad's outing means I have already missed my usual Steps class...

Sure, which bookshop?

You sure you want Island Creamery before Relish, I am preparing myself for a burger and lots of desserts at Relish =)

oh? i tot u normally hv gym at 4pm or something, so i tot you'll go gym after dallas. haha, i dunno, just tot since we're gonna b nearby that area, might be good to check out island creamery too. but if not, we can hv early dinner, like 5pm or something so its still bright enough to take pics haha. so who wants to make reservation at relish?

hmm i dunno, i tot of checking out kino @ liang court since we're already at boat quay.

Usually 10am for Sat and 4pm for Sun... =)

Yeh, think it might be a better idea to go to Relish early for photos, better lighting and lesser crowd (I hope)... then decide whether to drop by Island Creamery later...

Making reservation is easy but have we confirmed the head count for Relish?

Kino @ Liang... Sure, why not...
