Giving you more reasons to go BakerZin

Usually I will leave my special for 2 days or so but I got to tell all my readers all this... BakerZin has a 50% promotion for their warm chocolate cake...

As usual, I met Yuan after work and we were on my macarons spree, my main objective is to convince him that one of the outlets weren't that good and I get him to eat 7 macarons from 3 different places in a go... I am happy with his conclusion...

Anyway, with my blood sugar running rocket high in my body and my hormones trying frantically to keep everything in check... My brain has not registered the message, somehow or rather I needed some visual satisfaction too... So I have decided to swing by BakerZin Deluxe... What caught my attention explains the existence of this entry...

$4.90 promotion

You are not seeing things, BakerZin's signature warm chocolate cake is going at $4.90++ (i.e. $5.70) and the promotion ends on the 31st Jan 08.

Warm chocolate cake

Fen's comments

Having ate one of the chocolate creations from Canele, I am quite tired of extreme richness of chocolate... Somehow or rather, even though I have a liking for dark chocolate, I prefer it just like how BakerZin has done for their warm chocolate cake.

With a crispy exterior, a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake and the oozing gooey rich Valrhona chocolate, it just makes me suffer from excessive desserts syndrome (EDS). Need me to say more? There are enough reviews about this cake and its reputation of being good is unquestionable. ____________________________________________________________________

Yuan's comments

Think I kind of lost it for the warm chocolate cake. I now prefer the dark rich chocolate mousse. Having eaten the Juipter from canele the previous day, the warm chocolate cake seemed "diluted". None the less the plus point of this warm chocolate cake is that it does not have the burnt taste.

I am not sure about other BakerZin branches since we dined in Deluxe by BakerZin which is a partnership between BakerZin and Lee Hwa Diamond Gallery to allow customers to browse jewellery and enjoy light snacks and drinks at the same time.

Yuan: Just saw on the papers: promotion applies to all BakerZin branches

oh u mean bakerzin deluxe is simply like letting ppl browse for jewelry while eating, and not becoz they serve more high end desserts? lol. tot its something like breadtalk silver.

anyway the warm choc cake even if its $5.70, its still pretty cheap lor! somemore they used valrhona choc. ok THATS IT, i'm goingggg. when?? haha.

aiya u never take pics of the innards :( is it like the molten lava kind?

When I saw it was BakerZin Deluxe, I didn't think that much since the menu is down-sized (i.e. only selected items). It became suspicious when I can't locate the address of this branch from BakerZin's website...

Yea, it is a steal... Go before 31st Jan :D

I did take a picture of the innard but the opening is just too small... so I abandoned that picture... Anyway, it is the molten lava kind...

say, is the warm choc cake only available at this deluxe, or all branches?

i think we shd all just go for bakerzin outing la, since sihan & i are both keen, claire don't hv to say, she'll just go straight for the sweet pleasures. maybe we can arrange a day, weekend obviously? hehe

The warm chocolate cake is available in all BakerZin outlets but I am not sure is this promotion only limited to Deluxe by BakerZin...

Haha, I can tell from your enthusiasm... Why not you guys arrange a day, I see if I can join you guys? Might be easier that way...

I've been to this outlet many many times though not recently. They used to have great eclairs but I'm not sure if they're still available. First few times were good but subsequently the standard seemed to have dropped though. I've blogged about their eclairs before hee. :)

The food menu is different from the usual Bakerzin's outlets too.

of coz laaa, u still have doubts that you're missed? hehe. i'll see u on the 18th then. claire tentatively can make it (tho' not confirmed). think if i go to novena, i might just grab a slice of carrot cake from cedele too wahahha!

btw, i went to obolo today :p

Ice: That is something new... I haven't seen eclairs from BakerZin though... Maybe I will look for your entry... Yea, menu is different but I thought it was more to down-sized...

Evan: Cedele's carrot cake is really good... It was like love at first sight... So, what did u have at Obolo?

bossacafez said...

yes, can't wait to eat carrot cake from cedele :p maybe i shd just buy the whole cake instead of a slice LOL.

oh obolo, we bought the cassis, dome amore & 4 macarons to share. then i oso bought noisette, rhumba & foret noir verrine to bring home, will take pics of them later :p the salted caramel macaron was really good lor, but the rest of the 3 (rocher, mango passion & cassis) not really nice.

I think the eclairs are only available at Deluxe. But I haven't been there since the last time I had the pistachio eclair (yes pistachio!) when I felt the standard dropped, so I'm not sure if they still have eclairs now.

Fen said...

Evan: Alright, I await your entry...

Ice: I haven't look at your blog but was the eclair entry the "lick you screen" entry? I have a feeling I have seen the picture of the half-eaten eclair...
