Chocoholics will prefer this over a conventional chocolate tart. Instead of a buttery tart base, Sheraton Towers replaces it with a chocolate boat. Hence apart from the raspberry and praline, everything else is chocolate.
Within the boat is smooth and rich chocolate mousse with thin layers of sponge and praline. Over the top you have crunchy chocolate balls with chocolate fudge topped over it.
Personally, this is really all that a chocolate lover could ask for, everything chocolate within one tart.
Just in case you are thinking of purchasing a whole cake from Sheraton Towers for a special occassion, the hotel's signature is the chocolate praline cake. Based on our experience with this tart, we can understand why it is popular among Sheraton Towers' dining guests.
For cheesecake, Sheraton Towers has the options of Strawberry, Baileys (this month special), Oreo and Mocca in a whole cake. Lastly, a whole Tiramisu cake order requires 4-days in advance.

As mentioned before, hoteltarts tends to have varying layers. This is no surprise, which comprises of vanilla white chocolate mousse, sponge cake, white chocolate custard and a tart base.
Very simple combination yet delicious. Fragrant vanilla mousse with vanilla beans pairs perfectly with the milky effects of white chocolate. The tart pastry and cake sponge lightens the overall texture making it a nice dessert after meals.
The only downside is that the tart is not small and gets alittle sweet when one attempt to finish it on its own. Nevertheless, this baby worth sacrificing some calories.

On appearance, one can easily mistaken this as the Durian Mousse Cake from Goodwood Park since both hotels have their durian cakes served with bits of sponge cakes layered generously with durian mousse.
But despite the generous layers of durian pulp, the satisfaction level was not there which might be due to the choice of durian cultivar. Unlike the bitterish rich texture which durian lovers adore, the mousse is lighter and lack the punch and fragrance.
For whole durian cake order, Sheraton Towers requires only 3 hours in advance to prepare a whole cake and is available everyday. Lastly, each slice of durian cake costs $6.00+.

The waterfall, the high ceiling and the ample lighting through the glass panels make this a soothing place to laze around with a group of friends for a chat.

Frankly speaking, I have emailed several hotels before I decided on Sheraton Towers. My eventual dilemma was between Hilton and Sheraton Towers for the former having the widest variety and the latter being the cheapest among my enquiries.
I really love the ambience of this place. There is no pressure to stay through the entire 4 hours block and the waterfall against the glass panel is really an eye-relaxing sight. As for the limited variety, I kinda expected it since I had their menu before hand.
Frankly speaking, I do like the selection, it is not excessive and thus one is able to try all dishes. Moreover, some of the dishes are pretty nice, namely the laksa, the chocolate praline cake, the bread pudding, pandan chicken and olive fried rice. I would say this is a pretty affordable buffet for a weekend gathering and wouldn't mind to drop by to try their durian cake.
The deciding factor of why I have chosen Sheraton Towers over Hilton was because of Camemberu's entry on her visit to Sheraton Towers.

If you are looking for variety and spread you are going to be disappointed. As the name implies, this is a high tea. A place whereby you laze around for the whole afternoon, sipping tea and enjoying the snacks. Hence do not expect lobster, prawns oysters etc. Instead expect snacks such as samosa, popiah and fried carrot cake.
There are 2 items which I would point out in this buffet that is a must try.
First is the pandan chicken. Very tender chicken marinated with satay sauce and wrap in pandan leaves - delicious.
Second is the chocolate hazelnut mousse. I must say this is one of the better chocolate mousse available, not too rich and has a nice thin layer of hazelnut praline. I must say that with this cake I am tempted to drop by sheraton towers to try their cakes.
