The pricing of the cake is at $40 (8") and $50 (9"); pretty reasonable to be shared among colleagues.
When I first had this cake with my colleagues, the impression gotten from all of them were postive. However, do note that this cake uses butter cake instead of the regular sponge and hence some may not like the buttery aftertaste of the cake. Apart from that, this cake scores a thumb ups from most of the people who has tried.
Yuan is one of the few that dislikes eating butter cake with fresh cream, thus he felt that Strawberry Shortcake from 4 Leaves was a better alternative.
I always find it difficult to make a recommendation as there is no such thing as the "best" cake since taste is preferential. This is one cake which is positive for me but negative for Yuan.
